Well it has been a while since we last wrote an entry. From today onwards we hope to feed you again on a regular basis with news from Ghana. After a very good and intensive furlough period in the Netherlands we finally arrived back in Yendi last Saturday. We had a very good and pleasant journey until the last stretch of 100 km from Tamale to Yendi. The last hour of the journey we had a burst tyre, a stone in our windscreen and such a heavy downpour that we had to park the car at the side of the road for a while. Fortunately the burst tyre and rain shower did not coincide so we did not get soaked.
This first week we are trying to get settled; unpack, clear dust and organise our office. Hopefully by next week we are back to our old Ghanaian routine. The children are adjusting well – Samuel is very excited to be back in our own house and surroundings but the Netherlands and all the people he met are still very fresh in his mind and he thinks he can just visit any of them at any time!

PRAYER AND PRAISE
Thank God for a wonderful furlough and a safe journey back and a good adjustment especially for the children
Pray for us as we try to pick up our work and other daily activities, so that we are able to catch up quickly and find a good new balance between family life and work.
